Software Engineering Conference (Russia) Paths to Competitive Advantage. As businesses, software companies seek to differentiate themselves from competitors. Many companies, particularly those building commercial shrink-wrap software, are continually striving to provide products that have more features than their competitors. They consider innovation the key to success in their markets and aim to be the first-to-market with exciting new capabilities for their customers. Software development companies, particularly those building custom solutions for their customers, focus on operational and process excellence -- providing reliable and timely products at competitive prices. Companies can also focus on meeting the needs of a particular market niche or providing superior service. There are many paths to competitive advantage; from a strategic perspective, the important point is to determine an appropriate path and follow it with laser-like intensity, while also addressing the other aspects as necessary to meet customer needs. The focus of this conference is on how companies provide business value by differentiating themselves from their competitors in a myriad of ways.
SEC(R) 2006 is organized by TEKAMA and RUSSEE Consulting, market leaders in education and consulting for the high tech industry in Russia and CIS. Event is supported by leading Russian industry associations.
